4. Select Enabled and press <Enter>. The Rescan Rate screen
displays.
5. Enter the rescan rate in minutes.
This tells the SM how often it should look for an available drive by
rescanning the bus. Rescanning the bus frequently can affect
performance. If you have an EMP, the dynamic spare configuration
will not rescan the bus. The EMP will detect the new drive and tell
the SM to rescan; the rescan rate you set here will not affect the
system.
6. The system confirms the change. Select Yes and press <Enter>.
